Excess Silence

Is there a way to eliminate the excess silence at the end of my saved tracks before I burn them in Nero. I have various lengths of silence at the end of my tracks which in turn will produce various different pauses between tracks. I have tried the Nero forum but did not get any joy.

You can crop the dead air at the end of the files with a tool called MP3 Butcher. It is very easy to use and you can crop to the millisecond with it. Get it at: http://www.smart.icenter.pl/mp3/butcher/

you also can edit the track lengths in nero when burning as audio cd.

Its not fancy, but it will do the job.

google for mp3 trim. trims beginning or end of mp3.

Pretty much all of the audio editing tools will do the trick. Audacity if it's more then just mp3.
