Well you could have at least given a BIT more information, but by simply googling that error I came up with a lot of information and I assume you are using Windows Media Player to play an avi file. That error means "invalid file format." usually not because the file is invalid, but more than likely because you don't have the proper codecs to view it. Read these two links:
