DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error with primary connection

Postby Guest on Sat Jan 04, 2003 1:39 am

Hey all, I have a linksys Router and a linksys NIC card LNE100TX ver. 4.1
My comp would reboot when running a primary connection so I proceeded to update the firmware on my router since it was really outdated, but of course that didn't resolve the issue entirely, now instead of rebooting I get the error message I stated in the subject line.

I read the help files about this on vladd44.com, seems the main problem comes from the Linksys Nic card. The help section mentioned something about updating the drivers on the nic card chipset, I tried the link provided but get a cant find server error....link may me outdated??

Anyway does anyone know where I can find the file/s to fix this problem

Btw i did download the nic card latest driver from linksys but that didn't work..no prob running in secondary but I really would prefer to run in pri.

Or is the easiest solution just buying a new nic card non linksys brand

Thanks in advanced for any help!

I tried the link on my page that said get it here......

which is this address ftp://210.65.45.84/nic/an983b/AN983B_WIN_DRV_217.zip

and I downloaded the file, so I m nut sure what happened when u tried to dl it. If there is a porb and u r unable to downlaod, I can host the file long enough for u to get it.

:) that driver file did the trick, the only other problem I had was that no one was able to dowload from me and I couldn't download either but I just had to correct the ip forwarding address on my router and viola.... on a primary connection SHARING files.

Thanks for the help
