Doom 3 addon

ich have downloaded the doom 3 addon via azureus.. it finished now!!!
but i cant find a install file!!
hw can i install it???

instead of what u dont have...

how about telling us what you do have. most likely its a image file that will need to be burned to a cd, or use daemon tools.

You have to assume that some of us do not have you're knowledge. I'm a software developer and I can't make heads or tails of some of this stuff either.

i think i know what this guy is saying. i downloaded doom3 ROE and dunno how to make it work either.

i've got 50 files, all named d3roe.001, d3roe.002 etc. they are 14.3 meg each
i cant open these with winrar, comes up with 'this file is either unknown format or damaged'

ive also an d3roe.sfv, which is for validation and such i think? like crc checking.

ive also got a couple of urls shortcuts that dont work.
but i do have this site, but it seems to screw up a bit when i go in.

ok i worked out how to get them into winrar (n00b)
so now when i select them all and go extract i get some errors:

downloads\torrents\PC - Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil[elitewebt3.com]\d3roe.014: You need to start extraction from a previous volume to unpack d3roe.bin

\downloads\torrents\PC - Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil[elitewebt3.com]\d3roe.014: The file "???" header is corrupt

are my files broken? or am i just a n00b..

lol nah.. you would have got a .cue file with those..

in wich you need to use daemon tools

bin works in conjunction with a cue file.

If he has rar files, a cue would do him about as much good as bush does the usa...none.

I downloaded the same thing on mininova(torrents). 001,002...030....090 FILES. I have also a RAW image in it. It is in association with Acdsee7 but when i double-click it nothing hapens. I also tryed to mount it on Alcohol120% but the same thing.

I have the same set of 001- 050 files, but I was able to open the first one with winrar.
There are two files, a d3roe.bin and a d3roe.cue.
THe .bin is in the range of 700 megabytes, the size of the whole download.
The cue contains something like this:
FILE "D3ROE.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
Any ideas, anyone?

Yes, you use CUE files with daemon tools. So do you use bins. Good luck guys. When you get Daemon Tools, reply here, or read the readme, I will help you if you want.

Sorry for double post, but I have just installed it. Bad news. You obviously cannot play internet. Single player is fine as far as I know. I am also not sure you can install a patch.
As this is an expansion pack, you need the original LEGAL copy of Doom 3, or it will not detect. (not sure).

I got Original DooM3, so I'm a happy camp0r.

Oh, and yeah, you can type your original DooM3's cdkey, it will accept and you can play online!

Being legal is not bad. It's just worse that illegal. Hands down.

okay i downloaded a game via limewire i have downloaded before, and am savy, but i cant get this .zip file to open it just says its in unknown format or damages, i have worked with cue/bin files before, but how do you ddo that with a zip file?!?

Hi!
I had a copy of Doom3 installed on a secondary partition, and i had to format my primary one recently(containing windows installation). I just got ROE but unfortunately i can't install it koz it won't recognise Doom 3's installation path.

I also can't find the installation disc to install Doom3 again. How can i install the ROE without it requiring Doom3's installation path? BTW i can still play Doom3... :bang

you use winrar, not winzip, and open doomroe.001 and the cue and bin will be inside
