i don't understand how to play these files

Postby amy on Sun Jul 18, 2004 10:14 pm

i downloaded a movie, but it's a folder, with all these weird files inside, like b-13go30.r04, then the next one is b-13go30.r05, etc. i have no idea how to play this, none of the files will open in my players. do i need something else to play them? did i just waste all day downloading it?

get winrar (if you dont already have it) - extract the first one ie: b-13go30.r00 you'll wind up with a bin and cue. Then use alcohol 120% or daemon tools to mount the bin in a virtual drive and then you can play it OR burn to CD. First option is better - gives you a preview of what the quality of the file is like and then you can decide if you want to burn to CD
Canadian? Sign the petition. Let Ottawa know you want to be considered and that you don't want your rights to be abraded every time the music industry's profits slip a little.

If you want to burn to a CD you don't need to follow any of those steps; just use Nero or EasyCD to burn from the bin/cue set using some feature like "burn from image."
