divx 2.2 wont covert whole file

for my gf i recently tried ripping JUSTMARRIED, whatever on your commments, lol, and i converted it with divx 2.2, and when she watched it she said that it skipped 20 or 30 minutes, so i check it out and sure enuf it did skip, so i went thru the process, reripping the dvd and converting it and it did it again, is this some kind of copyright in the dvd or does smartripper blow that bad? or maybe i had bad settings in dvdx....some helpo ne one

I've used divx 2.2 for a while now with the only trouble comming from rented videos that are scatched. In those cases i've lost time from them or wouldn't convert at all. With new dvd's no problems. lol Peace
