Difficulties With TMPGENC

Postby jinxsa~salem on Thu Mar 09, 2006 5:29 pm

Gods, took me ages to remember my password ;">

Hi Guys, Hope everyone is doing ok. I know it's been a long time but around here things have been pretty crazed. I just got a new machine (to be known henceforth as "The Beast". This thing is fast and huge but it's making me crazy). I reinstalled TMPGENC and it's telling me that all my avi's can't be used, unsupported and the like. I had only run into that problem about half a dozen times with the old one. Any ideas?

Thanks And Hugs,
Jinxsa

Just over to the left & down a bit :monkey

*Note: Make sure you uninstall the old XviD (if any) in Hardware Manager before installing new one.

FFdshow is a direct show filter which allows you to play video files without having the codecs, it's kind of like a codec substitute, and in my opinion better off doing without, but anyway, you can view files with ffdshow without having the codecs, but you can't encode a file without the proper codecs.
