Dead Torrent, New Torrent, Surgery?

First off I use Bitcomet.

I have one torrent at 96% and there are no seeders (nor will their be).

There is another torrent for the same file (as far as I can tell) with one seeder, but it's really, really slow.

Is it possible to take the file I downloaded at 96% and copy them to the new torrent (even simply copying and pasting the incomplete file into the directory I'm downloading to, and renaming where appropriate)? Is there any way to use the 96%?
