corrupeted divx files

all my divx files have changed in propities tab from 5.11 to DVGigaAVICodec in the last couple of days now virtualdub and other progs won't work on them. any way to fix this ? thank you BTW they'll play on zoom player.

That's a new one on me but I bet Rita can help ya... go there & look around... they have help for pretty much all video problems.

That is a direct show filter which, like fddshow and others, can take the place of your other codecs. Reinstall your divx codec for starters, and see if you can find the filter and get rid of it.
