no connection

I was downloading earlier this morning, lost me connection, and have not been able to get another connection since. Using 3.53, pg lite, and pie auto updater. Any ideas as to what may work to get me reconnected?

I am having similar problem, was connecting fine, then kept getting connection for a short time, now can't connect at all.its getting on my nerves a bit now, hope someone can help, web pages load fine?

Hi again, found out what my problem was.......I think !!! I had added both the winmx programme and the ports to windows firewall settings but when my connection dc I had to restart comp for settings to take effect, works fine again now, hope this helps with your problem, all the best.........Astral-Warrior

Hi tfrost, are you UK ? have since my last post discovered that my time related problems are caused by uk's fair usage policy and my ISP provider limits me during the day, I connect fine late at night, wonder if your problem is same ?
