Connection Help

i havent used winmx in a while, when i recently tried to search for mp3's i noticed that i wasnt receiving many results if any. i tried reinstalling winmx, the auto updater and i downoloaded and installed the latest community patch. nothing worked!

then i changed my connection from primary to secondary and wow...huge results. why? i know my communication ports are set up correctly, wht could be the problem?

Sounds to me like your connection ports are not open correctly, have you tried using the walk through at www.portforward.com ? If not, i would suggest you try it.

There is also the consideration that some users just run more stable and effective on secondary than primary.
