I know that I rarely say much good about christians, but I feel compelled to make exception. No doubt his decisions result in consequence. But what is a good moral tale without them?
Madeline Neumann had undiagnosed Diabetes. Her father prayed for her. Had others pray for her. But neglected to call or seek medical attention until she stopped breathing. This faith stood through the inability to eat, walk or talk.
Dale Neumann stood strong within his faith that GOD could heal his 11 year old daughter. Stating "If I go to the doctor, I am putting the doctor before God," he said. "I am not believing what he said he would do.".
I must say I am a bit confused. Surely this level of commitment does qualify as faith.
Luke 17:6 wrote:And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
Matthew 17:20 wrote:And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
But I must understand that Great Old GOD's ways are not our ways. I cannot begin to comprehend the his divine nature and purpose. I can only know that it served a greater good for this girl to die at 11 of an easily treatable disease.
Perhaps this is really all about testing her parents. I am sure they can come out stronger and better christians out of all this. If they need help, I am sure the fact that Job lost his whole family (except the nagging wife with one verse) will be much comfort.
Or even Jephthah could be of comfort. In the book of Judges he ends up sacrificing his daughter to GOD. (Judges 11).
I am sure that GOD's purpose will work out in the end.
Just believe.
Yeah.

: Maybe we should send you to a concentration camp.
