CD2 unrecognised (games)

Hey guy's,

carried out the torrent download ok and burned my images onto CD successfully (using Nero).

Where I'm having issues is during installation. After placing CD1 and submitting the serial number it goes onto install ok. Later in the installation process, when asked to place CD2 in the drive (which I do) CD2 fails to get recognised.

I click on ok, the driver whirrs around for a bit and then asks me for CD2 again.

Why might this be? I tried to download a second game and had the same problem.

did it all install properly? or still installing?

if installed, it could need a nocd crack.,

No, when asked to insert CD2 I would click on ok (after inserting CD2 ofcourse!)

after that the computer would try to locate CD2 in the drive and again would ask me to insert CD2 again. In other words CD2 wasn't recognised when inserted at this stage of installation.

It's seems a bit bizarre and would put it down to files not being burned correctly onto disk but I did CD1 without any problems on both games/torrents I downloaded so I really am a bit baffled.

Ahh.. why didn't you say you were in such a hurry.. the solution to your problem is very simple .. go to the local gaming store & BUY the game

or anouther cheaper solution is to download a version that has the setup files cracked to detect fake CD2's...

That's a very original reply Canada Joe, perhaps you ought not to hang around message boards dedicated to "non-purchase" downloads.

KY thank you for your useful reply, is there any way to easily detect downloads with relevant setup files or is it a case of trial and error?

KY, so far I've used http://www.suprnova.org/ as a resource.

Either way I'll look into other places for downloads, this forum is littered with other sites to visit. I'll be paying particular attention to Vlad's active Torrent's links.

Ya i have the same problem i take doom 3 and burn the mdf file to one cd using alcohol 120 percent then do the last 2 with nero but i think im doing it rong when i burn it with nero.So i did that then used the cd key i found and it works. Then the first cd goes then it says to put in the 2 cd i do that and it comes back saying to put in cd 2 im confused what am i doing rong.
