Cant skip and AVI file

Hi all, I DL'd and avi which when I come to watch I am unable to skip forward, pause and resume or skip back. The avi returns to the begining which is annoying to say the least. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

I've never done this, but I know what some friends have done to fix this. You need to find a program that rebuilds the index. I'm sure if you searched download.com you could find something for that.

use divfix, i have a link in my video section.....

u should b able to restore the index with it, then u should b able to ff, rew etc.
Jewish Kid: Is anyone else having problems concentrating on this? I just can't seem to concentrate.
