can`t install

when i try to install bit torreny on my windows ME in say 1% not a valid win32 applacation? does anyone know what this means?

don`t know what you mean. i have downloaded it of the site and when i click on teh bittorrent-3.3.exe icon to insatll. it just says %1 is not a vaild win 32 applaction. anyone any ideas

try getting a new copy of the client and installing that ... if that doesn't work try

1: renaming the downloaded file so that its filename extension matches the filename extension when you dl'ed it; (ie: if it said bt0234.exe and you named it bit torrent.exe ... change it back)

2: try a different browser;

3: in windows explorer click on the view tab and click on "Hide File Extensions for Known Files" and click "ok" this will force windows to show the file extention ... then you can check to make sure it's an .exe

but most likely it's just a corrupted dl and you need to get the file again
