can't connect.. please help

i have been trying to redownload winmx for over a month since reformatting my computer. ive downloaded the patch and everything else a dozen times fresh after uninstalling and reinstalling everything over and over again!!! nothing is working. When trying to use the manual updater .. i get a message that says im not connected to the internet but i am. I have tried turning off my antivirus and firewalls and that don't work either. hellpppppppppppppppppp

Hey Pamme, what is the sentence u see on the left of yr Ignored button at the top of yr winmx (the Ignored button is the one with the red circle on it?) <<< pls answer this ... it is the 1st step to the troubleshooting process.
