Sorry, was very tired when I answered this post and I came back to read it over. I'd like to clarify my last statement.
"If you have one of the four combinations above, you can just burn as dvd video"... This is not entirely true, at least not on Nero or any burning software that I know. If your file does meet any of the standards I mentioned, you will simply need to author it, but you will not need to encode it first.
