buner drives for macintosh

I've recently purchased a cd-rw\dvd combo drive, and I can use it to read both cd's dvd's. However, I can't load the software,windows, and this doesn't make sense. Why can't I use the burner capabilities of the drive I bought. The model I' ve got is the Mad Dog Dominator 4 in 1 combo drive. There just has to be drivers that will allow it to run on my Macintosh. Can you help? Loucioux

Well, that's one I really can't help with, sorry...
I know nothing about Macs.

I hope someone else can, but there's always Google... Or contact the techies for the model of burner you purchased, there has to be a department you can contact on their website or in the service manual.
