yeah i am noticing a reduction in speeds as well ... if it's a movie/game/program or something really popular my speeds can be phenominal ... maybe there aren't enough high speed connections for that torrent or cause of the newer clients coming out with better bandwidth controls ppl are monitoring their bandwidth more or possibly it's suprnova/mobilfrenzy (they dont monitor leeches - big time grab it (once you get your copy) and disconnect mentality happening and it degrades the whole set up)

i agree 5:1 sucks big time and the speeds others are reporting i no longer get (i used to )... did you try the newish java client, azureus? I find it runs better than the experimental and torrent storm ... finding torrents with a bunch of seeds and connections helps too

as vladd said if you gave some more info maybe we can convert you back it really is a good p2p ...
