Azureus wont start .. Java problem?

Postby joeyb649 on Wed Mar 08, 2006 2:49 pm

I've been using azureus for about a month now and I've never had any problems. One day i clicked on the shortcut and i got this error message

"java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
at org.gudy.azureus2.ui.swt.StartServer.<init>(StartServer.java:76)
at org.gudy.azureus2.ui.swt.Main.<init>(Main.java:52)
at org.gudy.azureus2.ui.swt.Main.main(Main.java:158)
at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)
at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source)
at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source)
at com.exe4j.runtime.LauncherEngine.launch(Unknown Source)
at com.exe4j.runtime.WinLauncher.main(Unknown Source)"

So after restarting my computer i unistalled azureus and reinstalled it but i got the same error next i unistalled azureus again and then unistalled java then i installed the latest version of java and the latest version of azureus and again i still got the same error...

Can anyone help me?!

Thx

I had problems with latest version of AZ, so i got rid of it and use UTorrent instead. See if you can find an earlier copy of AZ if u really need to use it, or change clients.

Clients should not make any difference. I used 17912 in AZ and set UTorrents up to use the same port because that was already forwarded in modem. I have had no speed problems with U Torrent.
