No Audio in TMPGEnc

I am at a total Loss. When I convert mpeg1 Files to avi in TMPGEnc 3.0 Express most of the avi files have no audio. Some do but not too many.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In TMPGEnc Xpress leave enough room for the mp3 audio when you calculate the bitrate, but for the audio leave it as an uncompressed pcm wav, use an audio app to convert the wav to mp3 and then mux the audio with the video afterwards in VirtualDub.

And if you want to save yourself a lot of hassle, just use AutoGK for the whole process.
