Audio for Nero

Is there a plug-in or something I can do to allow Nero to burn in 5.1 Dolby or some other sound field other than the standard AC3 (2.0)? I am using version 6.6.0.16.

Nero will "burn" whatever you give it as the original. On most dvd's there will be a choice for a soundtrack, both 2-channel and 5.1 channel ac3 audio tracks. If you have a movie that is ac3 2-channel then either the person who encoded the movie didn't choose to use the 5.1 channel ac3 or else it wasn't available. The only thing you can do is extract the audio and use a program to create a 5.1 channel track from it, then remux the audio to the video, however it won't be a "real" dolby digital audio, as you will be kind of "faking it."
