I had problems with the older version 3.31 ( couldn't access my Incomming Files folder) so I deleted winmx and installed ver. 3.54 Beta. Still not allowed to access the Incomming files folder but also seems to take forever to connect, then disconnects, another disconnection and the cycle goes on and on.
Any help greatly appreciated!

When you get to step 7 (install a fresh copy of Winmx 3.53 or 3.54) if you want to use 3.54, install 3.53 first then install the 3.54.exe to same folder .. 3.54 doesn't install solo)..
