Another child dies from Christian neglect

Two children dead within the last 3 months: one a 15 month old little girl back in March, and now her 16 year old cousin is also dead.

Both of them were victims of their parents belief that prayer is better than doctors.

The parents of the little girl are awating trial in connection with her death.

The 16 yr old boy's parents haven't been arrested yet.

Personally, I think more than his parents should be arrested, this time. I think all that were present and praying, and watched that kid die, are just as responsible for his death.

They stood around him at his bed for 2 days watching him die. 2 whole days!

At any time, any one of them could have picked up a phone and called for an ambulance, or called the police. But not one of them bothered to call till the boy was already dead for an hour. They had to make sure he was good & dead before they bothered to call the police.

That's just f**k sick!

Yesterday i read in the german newspaper that (i think it was the second this year) a priest was arrested for touching little boys. and there are so many pedophile priests in the world which are not caught till yet...its a shame.

There are many people, from all ranges and beliefs within society, who abuse children and do evil things. I think it no less a mockery that a Christian harm a child than an atheist or agnostic who does…it still stinks. Evil is evil! And trust me, agnostics and atheists do abuse children…it’s not a phenomenon limited to those who profess a Christian worldview. What I think is more tragic is when you use an evil event, i.e., abusive parents who engage in behavior considered abusive, to highlight your disdain for Christianity…that is purely selfish use of a victim for your own benefit. What if the parents were fat, midgets, and had red hair...would you be equally as willing to rally against fat red headed midgets who abuse children? Would I think less of atheists or agnostics in general if one from that crowd of believers abuses a child…eh, no. This wasn't just a set of parents that did this...there was a whole church congregation involved, gathered around that child's bed praying for 2 days and refusing help to that child in any real meaningful way.

By the way...a little google-fu and you'll discover that the kid died from a heart attack caused by a backup of urine in his system.

A simple little piece of plastic tubing, inserted so he could pee, could have saved his life at any point during the 2 days that their whole church was gathered around that kid's bed chanting to jesus and watching him die.

Funny thing is I don't see agnostics and atheists using their non-beliefs in god to justify abuse of their children. When was the last time you read a news article about an athiest that denied his child vital medical care because "there is no god"? Or an agnostic saying the reason why he didn't take his child to a hospital when they were injured was because he "wasn't sure if there was a god or not"?

I wouldn't have a problem with Christians, if they knew how to be proper f**k Christians...and practiced what they preached, and preached to each other first, and don't bother non-Christians unless we ask them to.

I am sick & tired of showing Christians exactly how unchristian they really are. I am tired of teaching them how to be decent human beings...tired of teaching them what common respect for humanity really is. They are so obsessed with their own mortality and where they are going when they die that they don't know how to live. They don't understand that life is not meant to be spent scaring people into worrying about death all the time. Not meant to be spent scoring points by collecting a troop to march into heaven with. They don't understand that what is important is right here and right now, in this life, because that is all you have, right now. Whatever comes next, if anything, is irrelevant, right now.

I think about the only Christians I don't have a problem with are the Coptic Christians. They know wtf they are doing and they stay off people's doorstep on Saturday mornings, and don't go around telling anyone that they are going to hell. As a matter of fact, they won't even tell you what they believe unless you ask them. And they live exemplary lives of kindness, generosity, compassion, and go out of their way to be good people...because if you believe it, you should be living it.

Their form of evangelization is to be a living example of Christ to the point that it confuses you and you just have to ask them why the f**k do they do the things they do...THEN they tell you. But it ain't preachy when they explain.

They are the kind of Christians that earn respect. I don't have to tell them what life is for...they already know and are doing it.

They are nothing like Mando, who would rather attack and accuse me of crap and ask me what excuses atheists & agnostics use when they abuse their children, than do anything to try and save the lives of some abused & neglected Christian children, as if life has no meaning.

Sure, gather together with your church and go protest to save unborn children, and then do nothing to save their lives once they are born.
