All uploads time out

I'm an old hand with WinMX and am now running 3.53 with the latest patch. Searching and downloading is working fine, but everyone one who enters my queue is timing out. There's nothing new going on with firewalls or the like and the ports are the same as always.

Ideas anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Patch only connects u ... nothing more, they don't affect whether yr transfers time out or not. The things that DO affect yr transfers not working r :

1) firewalls (like xp switching itself on after a windows update and blocking)
2) router blocked ports
3) or isp issues (if isp is blocking ur uploads) and yr isp Comcast does block uploads in some areas
4) or more commonly some users just kill their uploads to u.

Ur transfers time out cos u r having blocked ports. U need router configuration to set the proper ports in yr router so yr transfers of both computers will work. Let us help u to do that.
