Alcohol, Daemons and Vista

Postby Kelvar on Mon Nov 03, 2008 11:49 pm

Ok, here's another problem, or three for everyone. I've tried installing Alcohol 120, and Daemon Tools, both fail to install, message is corrupted file, which seems unlikely in two apps. Is this one of the joys of vista? (no virtual drive allowed)

Second, trying to install the JRE update, crashes with a blue screen, doesn't stay onscreen long enough to get the error message. Now I have to cancel the install every reboot, which is annoying.

Third, after being on for a few hours (computer), audio files sound noisy, in WMP, MediaMonkey, and Irfanview. Any suggestions, besides e-mailing Bill a nice, but insincere, thank you?

Jewish Kid: Is anyone else having problems concentrating on this? I just can't seem to concentrate.
Cartman: Maybe we should send you to a concentration camp.

Personally, i wouldn't touch Vista at all, also, ignore Vladd, you need to be a php in computer science, or a techno geek like him to use that, just go get XP, all will be well :D

I'm considering that option as well Nobby. After 20 hours or so it takes Vista 5 minutes to get the mouse pointer from one side of the screen to the other. f**k that. :x
