ALBW Help Sought

Postby Lost Pup on Sat May 03, 2003 9:21 am

so i have every movie out now, thought i would move into music and try to steal it all. I searched google for some ideas on this and havent really found anything on it. So i post in here and hope that someone has an idea on how to solve my problem.

When stealing albums, i download an ALBW. Sometimes the album extracts fine and sometimes it doesn't.

1) I realize that some people rip an entire cd to 1 track, and that would need to be cut with an mp3 cutter(and rename them as ALBW). I have found some decent freebies on downloads.com, but it sure is a pain in the ass (ok - i am lazy). Some of the files i download say albw, and when i open them in the unwrapper (yes i tried the opensourced ALBA also) - they open as valid albumwrapped files, but it lists 0 (no) tracks. The albw will play all the tracks in my player. Has anyone run across this and have a idea or solution???

2) Also sometimes a valid ALBW will not open, saying invalid (possibly meaning single track). I know the source of the file and trust when they say - it is a valid ALBW. So is it getting corrupted, similiar to the way zip files can be corrupted??? Is there a fix?

Thanks
work sucks :pee off

What is a proxy chain?
A Proxy chain is a connection of 2 or more proxy servers. ProxyWay allows to work with any Internet service through a proxy chain of SOCKS or HTTP proxies. Using the program you can create proxy services (cascades/chains) with any number of proxy servers (supports HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5) to provide IP address security and tunnel Internet activity through proxy servers.
