Activating Games Once Downloaded

This has probably been asked a million times, but how do you activate a game once it is downloaded. The instructions always say to unRAR it, copy it to a disc, and then transfer the crack file to the game directory. I'm not familiar with that directory or how to do it. Any suggestions anyone?

You need Alc. 120% (Google it, get a free copy).

uRAR it. and extract to a folder.
Open Alc.120%, mount the image (ISO, mdf and mds whatever type it is), then hit "image burning wizard", make a disc.

Use that disc as your install disc and install.

Use whatever "activater" or whatever it is you got in your RAR, how ever the readme files tells you. (Note: your readme might be a .nfo instead of .txt. Just right click and choose open with Notepad.)

That is the most basic way to answer your question.

Note: It is better if you learn more about mounting images; that way you do not need to burn discs.
When you mount your image to burn to CD, you can just use that mounted image to install instead of burning it. Just look under "My Computer" where all your drives are and you will see it there; it's look just like you had a disc in a drive.
(Hence, mountng and image on a virtual drive )

The reason they do it that way, instead of handing out an already cracked version is to frustrate noobs in the hopes that they will either learn something and become a more educated user, or give up and go pay for it like a loozer.
